HR policy assistant
Answers questions on leave, travel and benefits from your HR policies, with the policy page cited.
RAG development
Bluelupin builds retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems that let your staff search and ask questions of your own documents, wikis, tickets and records. Each answer cites its sources and follows each user's access rights. We deliver this as enterprise search, as a knowledge assistant in Slack, Microsoft Teams or a web portal, or both.
RAG finds the passages in your content that relate to a question and gives them to a language model, which writes an answer that cites those passages. Users can always open the source to check the answer.
| You need | Use |
|---|---|
| Staff searching or asking about your own documents | RAG development (this page) |
| Customers or citizens chatting or calling in | Conversational AI |
| Pulling fields out of forms, invoices or IDs | Intelligent document processing |
| A system that acts in other tools after it finds the answer | AI agent development |
If the people asking are your staff searching your own documents, see RAG development. If they are customers or citizens, see conversational AI.
To pull fields out of forms, invoices or IDs, see intelligent document processing.
If the system has to act in other tools after it finds the answer, see AI agent development.
Search that matches meaning as well as keywords, across your wikis, shared drives, tickets and records. Results can be filtered by department, date or document type. Duplicate documents are removed, the most relevant passages are ranked first, and unclear questions are rewritten before the search runs.
Staff ask questions in Slack, Microsoft Teams or a web portal with single sign-on, ask follow-up questions, and are handed to a named expert when the assistant cannot answer.
Examples of what we can build.
Answers questions on leave, travel and benefits from your HR policies, with the policy page cited.
Finds product details, pricing rules and past proposals for the sales team.
Walks staff through standard operating procedures and links the exact step in the source document.
Helps officers in government departments find the right scheme, circular or notification and its latest version.
We connect PDFs, Office files, wikis, CRM notes, tickets and shared drives. New and changed files are picked up incrementally, so content stays searchable without a full rebuild of the index.
Governance and responsible AI are built into every Bluelupin build.
We audit where your content lives and agree the questions the system must answer well. This is the strategy and readiness phase of every Bluelupin build.
A working search or assistant on a sample of your content, tested against those questions.
One team uses it on real work while we measure answer quality and fix gaps.
Rollout and training for the teams who use the system can be included. How we roll out.
Our AI model monitoring and optimization service can run it after launch. Failed questions and feedback improve retrieval and test sets.
How long it takes: A first prototype can be ready in 1 to 2 weeks. Pilots usually take 4 to 8 weeks, and production systems usually take 3 to 6 months.
RAG answers from your content at the moment a question is asked, so no model is trained on your documents. Bluelupin is an OpenAI partner.
Common questions about RAG development.
Enterprise search returns a list of links. RAG returns a written answer built from the passages it found, with citations, and users can still open each source document to check it.
No. Access rights are synced from the source systems and checked for every question, so each person gets answers only from documents they could already open.
Every answer must cite its sources, and the assistant says so when no source supports an answer. We run test question sets before launch and after content changes, and flagged answers go to an admin review queue.
No. RAG reads your content at the moment a question is asked and passes the relevant passages to the model, which writes an answer that cites them. Your documents are not used to change the model itself, and when a document changes, the next answer uses the new version.
A first prototype can be ready in 1 to 2 weeks. Pilots usually take 4 to 8 weeks, and production systems usually take 3 to 6 months. The time depends on how many systems we connect, how ready your data is and how many review and approval steps the work needs.
Cost depends on how much content you have and how many sources it lives in, how access rights are set up, the channels you want (search, Slack, Microsoft Teams or a portal), model usage, and how much testing the answers need.
Tell us where your content lives and the questions your teams ask most, and we will help you plan the first step. Response within one business day.
